Mark Raphael, CPA, MBA - Partner
Mark is the audit partner of Raphael Goldberg Nikpour Cohen & Sullivan CPA’s PLLC, with offices in Woodbury, New York. He concentrates his practice on providing audit, business and accounting services and tax advice to a variety of clients in different industries. These industries include cooperative housing corporations, entertainment and title companies. Mark received his master degree in taxation from St. Johns University in 1981.
Early in his career, Mark worked for prestigious CPA firms (Deloitte and Touche and Prager and Fenton) performing general accounting and auditing functions and tax preparation. He then joined David S. Levine in a successful partnership in 1984, becoming Levine & Raphael. In 2008 through mergers the firm expanded into Raphael Sanders Goldberg Nikpour & Cohen, PLLC.
Mark has a proactive approach, and is always available to meet the needs of his client.
Mark has served as Chairman of the employee benefit committee of Nassau Chapter of NYS Society of Certified Public Accountants and as President and Treasurer of a coop board, where he previously resided. In addition, he is an active member at the Board of Trustees of his Synagogue who had served as an officer for six years and as President for three years. Mark had served as Treasurer of the West Side Tennis Club and currently serves as a member on the cooperative housing corporation board. Mark continues to be a member of various organizations, including the Counsel of NY Cooperatives, AICPA, the NYS Society of CPA's, and the National Conference of CPA Practitioners.
